Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (AMUTCD"), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, September 3, 1993, FHWA-SA-94-027 or Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millenium Edition, December 2000, FHWA. a) On October 10, 2012 at a worksite in Aurora IL, B & B Construction and Excavating Company did not conform to section 6F.20 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) by placing a ONE LANE ROAD AHEAD sign on the south bound lane of Offutt Ln., exposing employees to the hazards associated with working in the traveled way. b) On October 10, 2012 at a worksite in Aurora IL, B & B Construction and Excavating Company did not conform to section 6G.03 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) by placing a ROAD CONSTRUCTION AHEAD sign on the north bound lane of Offutt Ln., exposing employees to the hazards associated with working in the traveled way. c) On October 10, 2012 at a worksite in Aurora IL, B & B Construction and Excavating Company did not conform to section 6G.03 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) by placing a ROAD CONSTRUCTION AHEAD sign on the south bound lane of Offutt Ln., exposing employees to the hazards associated with working in the traveled way. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
