29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about October 9, 2012, at 450 Summit Crossing Way, Cumming, Georgia: a) An employee decking the roof of a building was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 17.6-feet when the employee worked from the roof ridge without being tied off to his lifeline. b) The same employee decking the roof of a building was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9.5-feet when he unloaded plywood near the unprotected edge of the building without being tied off to his lifeline.
