OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):     The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards:    (a) Cordell Hull Tainter gates Project - On or about 10/11/12, employees were exposed to xrushing hazards while operating a forklift without wearing the seat belt.    Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatemnet method to correct this hazard is to require employees to wear seat belts whenoperating forklifts as referenced in ANSI B56 1-1993, Section 5.3.19:  An active operator protection device or system, when provided, shall be used.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
