29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(12): Unprotected sides and edges of stairway landings were not provided with guardrail systems that meet the criteria contained in Subpart M of 29 CFR 1926.    a) Northeast Stairwell: The stairway landing between the second and first floors had an open side consisted of vertical metal studs spaced 15 inches apart. There was no guardrail system equipped with a top rail or midrail to prevent falls of 7 feet, 3 inches to the floor below.
