29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as elsewhere required or permitted by this standard, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more shall be guarded against accidentalcontact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by any of the following means: a. At the workplace, located in the electrical room, employees were exposed to accidental contact with an electrical timer box that did not have a cover to prevent the employees from accidental contact, thereby exposing the employees to electrical shock hazards.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings shall be effectively closed. a. At the workplace, located in the electrical room, there were two electrical service panels that were missing three circuit breakers. The electrical service panel openings were not covered to prevent accidental contact with the electrical components within the panel. Employees were exposed to serious physical injuries by electrical shock and/or arc flash.
