29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: a. Surfaces at the indoor shooting range used by employees exceeded the HUD level of 0.22 micrograms per centimeter squared (ug/cm2) by values ranging as high as 355.0 ug/cm2 to as low as 0.52 ug/cm2. b. Wipe samples taken in the armory were positive for lead using an instant lead testing kit. Quantitative wipe samples taken at the armory were above the HUD level of 0.22 ug/cm2. At the desk in the arms room, 956.0ug/cm2; on the compressor cart, 14,970.0ug/cm2; on top of the bookshelf, 29,660.0ug/cm2; and, on the bottle of gun cleaner, 29,395.0ug/cm2.
