OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to hazard of burns from fire. A) Warehouse area, on or about June 18, 2012, a gas driven motor and pump used to transfer diesel fuel from a vehicle mounted tank was not approved, exposing employees to a fire hazard. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION ARE NOT REQUIRED Other feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard are: To install a pump designed to handle combustible liquids.
