OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employee in that an employee was exposed to fall hazards while working on and from a job-made walking/working platform, supported and elevated on the forks of a JLG 944E-42 Lull with no fall protection systems in place: a) On or about 10/15/12 at 500 Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ 08854 the employer allowed his employee to work on and from a job-made walking/working platform that was supported and elevated in excess of 15 feet on the forks of a JLG 944E-42 Lull with no fall protection systems in place.
