29 CFR 1926.62(l)(1)(i): The employer did not communicate information concerning lead hazards according to requirements of OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard for the construction industry, 29 CFR 1926.59, including but not limited to the requirements concerning warning signs and labels and employee information and training: ******************************************* (a) Residential House, 155 Northampton Rd., Amherst: The employer did not communicate to all members of the crew that some of the paint being scrapped off of the house contained lead and that the dust being created represented a lead inhalation hazard. The employer did not communicate the need to erect warning signs for the lead hazard and to use "best practices" to avoid creating lead dust and inhaling/ingesting it.
