29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):     Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or person fall arrest systems:    On or about October 12, 2012, on top of a cylindrical fuel tank being installed, an employee was installing and securing the hold straps to the fuel tanks. The employee was working approximately 15 feet above the ground level without fall protection.     The R&R Petro Services Inc. was previously sited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) Citation 1 Item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 4, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at  5729 Leopard #3 Corpus Christi, TX 78408.

The employer had not complied with the provisions of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1)(i) in that the    On or about October 12, 2012, at this excavation site, an employee was not protected from a cave-in by the use of shoring, trench-box, or adequate sloping of the excavations sides. Employees were installing fuel tanks inside an excavation that measured 15 feet deep at its depest point and 38 feet long and 28 feet wide.     The R&R Petro Services Inc. was previously sited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent tandard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1) Citation 1 Item 3 and was affirmed as a final order on January 4, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at  5729 Leopard #3 Corpus Christi, TX 78408.
