29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):     The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s)    a) 1361 Woodlane Rd: Employer did not initiate frequent and regular inspections by a competent person.  As such an employee framing a multifamily town house was exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 30ft with no means of fall protection.  Observed on or about 10/16/12.    NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):     Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.    a) 1361 Woodlane Rd: Employer did not ensure that an employee framing a multifamily town house was protected from falls with guardrail systems, safety net system, or PFAS.  As such, the employee was exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 30ft.  Observed on or about 10/16/12.    JEC CONSTRUCTION, INC; WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, ITS EQUIVALENT, OR ESSENTIALLY SIMILAR STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 315820043 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1A, ISSUED ON 8/27/12.
