OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees a) Bristol Harbour Golf Couse, on the 15th Green, on or about 10/4/2012, an employee operating a Jacobsen Greens King IV Plus mower was operating near the edge of a ravine exposing the employee to the hazard of losing control. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard would be to use permanent barries to prohibit the equipment from accessing areas where the slope of the terrain is greater than 12.5 degrees. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
