The employer does not provide machine guarding to protect employees from stuck-by hazards when operating the conveyors on the Rebar Shearline Equipment Area.    a.  This violation was observed on or about October 11, 2012, in the Rebar Shearline Area where employees walked through an unprotected section of the rebar conveyor Number 1.     b.  This violation was observed on or about October 11, 2012, in the Rebar Shearline Area where employees walked through an unprotected section of the rebar conveyor number 3.     Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that guards are provided on all machines to protect employees from hazards.
