29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): Circular handfed crosscut table saw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut.      On or about 10/17/2012, at 3111 W. McNab Road, Pompano Beach, FL, employees were exposed to an amputation hazard while operating a Delta Rockwell 10' unisaw without a guard covering the unused portion of the blade.      PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.

29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): In any workplace where respirators are necessary to protect the health of the employee or whenever respirators are required by the employer, the employer shall establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures. The program shall be updated as necessary to reflect those changes in workplace conditions that affect respirator use. The employer shall include in the program the following provisions of this section, as applicable:      On or about 10/17/2012, at 3111 W. McNab Road, Pompano Beach, FL, the employer did not implement a written respiratory program, where an employee uses a 3M 6200 half mask respirator during spraying and finishing processes.       PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes the following:    On or about 10/17/2012, at 3111 W. McNab Road, Pompano Beach, FL, the employer had not implemented a hazard communication program for the company that describes the different chemicals used in the workplace.  The employees use products that contain hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to acetone, Isopropyl alcohol, xylene, ethyl benzene and petroleum distillate.      PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
