29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a). on or about 10/18/12, at the site of 5-11 47th Ave. Long Island City, NY The employer did not ensure that the rebar were capped or bent. The employees were exposed to the hazard of impalement. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
