29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Julio Rivera / 3162 West Lake Road in Erie, PA: On or about October 17, 2012 roofing work was occurring on the West side of the building, which was the curved section roof. Personnel were not utilizing any fall protection systems while conducting roofing work. Personnel were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10-feet.
