WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 403222,  CITATION NO. 1, ITEM NO. 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ISSUED ON 07/03/2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 3900 MAPLE ROAD, AMHERST, NY 14226.    29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):     Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:      a) On or about 10/16/12, at the Moog Inc. Corporate Headquarters Construction Site, Elma, NY: An employee was  exposed to a potential fall of 7 ft. 1 in. from the flat surface of a clearstory roof to the lower roof below. The employee was using a pushbroom to push water off the edge of the clearstory roof to prepare the roof for the installation of scuppers. No fall protection system was being utilized.    NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
