29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system.    a) North of the site: The employees were performing cleaning, restoration and painting operations on a commercial billboard (D.O.T.S.P. 925) owned by Clear Channel Outdoor Corporation and the employees were not properly tied off and were not using the fall protection harness (model number Salas 1113004) and to falls of 35 feet to the ground.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    a) North of the site: The employees were performing cleaning, restoration and painting operations on a commercial billboard (D.O.T.S.P. 925) owned by Clear Channel Outdoor Corporation and the employer did not ensure that the employees completed fall protection training prior to accessing the bill board and were exposed to falls of 35 feet to the ground.
