29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(i): The employer having employee(s) with occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens did not establish a written Exposure Control Plan designed to eliminate or minimize employee exposure: a) The employer had not established a written exposure control plan for employees performing and assisting with medical procedures such as, but not limited to, Nerve Ablation, Nerve Blocks, and Epidurals. Deficiencies include, but are not limited to, no exposure determination, no review and update at least annually to document changes in technology (such as safe sharp devices) that eliminate or reduce exposure to bloodborne pathogens, no documentation of input from non-managerial employees regarding the identification, evaluation, and selection of safe sharp devices, and specifically how the facility plans to comply with paragraphs (d) through (h) of the bloodborne pathogens standard. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
