29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. a) 1005 1/2 Main Street, Belmar, NJ: The workers were exposed to falls of 16 feet when utilizing pump jack scaffold that was mssing a midrail along the front and guardrails at the end, observed on or about 10/25/12. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
