29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Instance a) On the North Eastside of the roof - an employee preparing wood to build a frame for the installation of a chimney on roof with a slope of 6/12 was exposed to a fall of 22.6 feet, on or about October 23, 2012. Instance b) On the Southeast side of the roof - an employee building a wood frame for the installation of a chimney on a roof with a slope was exposed to a fall of 22.6 feet, on or about October 23, 2012
