29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Castor Materials (Northeast Plant): Employees (Drivers) used a brush to clean dust from the windows of their concrete trucks with Chemstation Product 9304, a corrosive chemical with a pH of 0.5 which contained phosphoric acid, fluoboric acid and hydrochloric acid. The employer did not ensure that an eyewash was present in the area for immediate use. On or about October 18, 2012.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: a) Castor Materials (Northeast Plant): Employees (Drivers) used Chemstation Product 9304, a corrosive chemical which contained phosphoric acid, fluoboric acid and hydrochloric acid to clean dust from the windows of their concrete trucks. The employer did not develop a written Hazard Communication Program. On or about October 18, 2012.
