(a) Sorting Lift - Laborer was exposed to respirable dust at an 8-hour time weighted average of 21 milligrams per cubic meter during the 321 minute sampling period on or about October 30, 2012. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled.

29 CFR 1910.1000(e): Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not determined and implemented to achieve compliance with the limits prescribed in 29 CFR 1910.1000 (a) through (d): (a) Sorting Station - Laborer was exposed to respirable dust at an 8-hour time weighted average of 21 milligrams per cubic meter during the 321 minute sampling period on or about October 30, 2012. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled. Feasible abatement methods include but are not limited to: 1. Install a retainer plate on the edge of the rollers to prevent peanuts from spilling from grate to reduce the need for manual sweeping during the dusty operations.

(a) Sorting Area - On or about October 18, 2012 employees who voluntarily use respirator such as Body Guard N-95 respirator with exhale valve were not provided the basic advisory in Appendix D.
