29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems shall be installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. Guardrail systems shall be installed before the scaffold is released for use by employees other than erection/dismantling crews. Worksite: Guardrails were not installed along all open sides of the pump jack scaffold. The employer was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.451 (g)(1) which was contained in OSHA Inspection # 310160916, Citation Number 1, Item Number 2, issued on 05/22/2008 by the Providence Area Office.
