29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:        Shipping Room:    1)    The unused sections of the blade of the horizontal bandsaw were not guarded.    2)     The cover of the chip separator was not interlocked with the drive mechanism to prevent the machine from being started while the cover was open or from being opened while the machine is running. The cover of the chip separator created a hazard if it is not secured in its up position.    Production Floor:      1)    The doors of the JNC Screw Machine were not interlocked.     2)    The doors of the Matsura CNC Milling Machine were not interlocked.     3)    The rotating shaft and threaded spindle of the buffing machine were not guarded.
