Federal Hwy, in the city of Deerfield Beach, an employee was painting on a commercial roof approximately 19' above ground level and was not protected from falls.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): On or about 10/16/2012, at 817 S. Federal Hwy, in the city of Deerfield Beach, employees were exposes to silica hazards while applying stucco to a commercial property, whereas the employer did not have copies of the Safety Data Sheet at the work site for chemicals such as AmeriMix Stucco. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
