29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures:(a)(LOCATION)(IDENTIFY SPECIFIC OPERATION(S) AND/OR CONDITIONS)(DESCRIBE HAZARD(S) WHERE NECESSARY) The employer is failing to protect employees from potential tripping hazards associated with excessive debris build-up in work areas and passageways. The most recent example of this was found throughout the job site located at 106 S. 15th Street, Omaha, NE 68102 where the employer has employees framing interior walls throughout the facility and while working on the eighth floor were exposed to large piles of debris creating a tripping hazard as they moved throughout the work area.
