OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 8 to 10 feet. An employee was exposed to a fall hazard while working on a platform at a distance of approximately 8 to 10 feet above the lower level. The work platform, a pallet lifted by a CAT GC25K forklift, did not have guardrails installed to prevent the employee from falling.
