29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 11/02/2012, an employee was performing siding activities without fall protection while working from a pitched roof between 8:12 and 9:12 and an attached pitched roof of between 6:12 and 7:12. *Abatement certification is required per 29 CFR 1903.19(c). H & L Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313133019, Citation number 1, Item 2 and was affirmed as final order on 9/20/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 5194 E. Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg, WI 53711.
