29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):     One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) On or about 11/2/12 in the outside work area; the unused portion of the horizontal band saw used to cut metal was not guarded exposing employee to contact with moving parts.     b) On or about 11/2/12 in the outside work area; the Cincinnati  ( 230 ton 12' bed- serial # 42582 ) press brake was being used to bend metal parts and was not guarded exposing employees to caught between hazards.     c) On or about 11/2/12 in the outside work area; the adjustable guard on the shear used to cut metal pieces was set at 5/8" exposing employee to caught between hazards of the hold downs.      d) On or about 11/2/12 in the lathe area; the chuck on the lathes used to turn metal pieces were not guarded exposing employees to caught on hazards.
