Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. a) 1290 Fruitville Pike, Lititz PA; Faith United Methodist Church; North-East Face of Roof - Roofers were observed without fall protection while conducting a roofing operation and were exposed to an 11foot fall hazard from the flat portion of a large roof, on or about 10/24/12. No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 1290 Fruitville Pike, Lititz PA; Faith United Methodist Church; Roof - Roofers were not trained in appropriate fall protection methods to avoid hazards associated with elevated work areas, on or about 10/24/12. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
