29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Jobsite located at 111 Rucker Lane, on or about November 1, 2012, employees while installing plywood sheathing on the 2nd and 3rd floor wall and window openings were not protected from falling to the lower level, thus exposing employees to fall hazards up to 20 feet. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.502(b)(2): Midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, or equivalent intermediate structure members were not installed between the top edge of the guardrail system and the walking/working surface when there was no wall or parapet wall at least 21 inches (53 cm) high. a) Jobsite located at 111 Rucker Lane, on or about November 1, 2012, an employee was observed walking and working at the wall opening without a midrail in place, thus exposing employee to fall a hazard up to 20 feet. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED
