29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: At the Hannibal site two drill presses were used by employees without benefit of guarding (a) Dexter Model RF30 Serial 433374 Mill Drill (b) Delta 70-200 serial R9328 At the Palmyra site one drill press was used by employees without benefit of guarding (c) Porter Cable PCBC600P Abatement verification is required for this violation. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).
