29 CFR 1910.23(d)(1): Every flight of stairs having four or more risers was not equipped with standard stair railings or standard handrails as specified in paragraphs (d)(1)(i) through (v) of this section, the width of the stair to be measured clear of all obstructions except handrails: a) Back Room: On or about November 7, 2012: The employer exposed his employees to a fall hazard of up to 87 inches in that he allowed his employees to walk up and down fixed stairs with four or more risers that did not have a standard stair railing which included a midrail.
