29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on a low-sloped roof, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) Commercial jobsite: On November 13, 2012 and at times prior thereto employees performed roofing activities at various locations of a roof which ranged from a 5 in 12 pitch to a 2 in 12 pitch, without an appropriate fall protection system in place. Note) Abatement certification IS required for this item.
