29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):  Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.    (a)Zulu Construction, LLC @ 1555 S. 76th, Superior, CO 80027:  On and before October 7th, 2012, the exposing employer did not ensure each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system in that an employee was engaged in framing operations on the perimeters edge of the second floor of a newly constructed storage unit without fall protection.  The guardrail system had been removed leaving a gap between the vertical steel stud members of approximately 24 inches. This condition exposed the employee to a fall hazard of 10 feet.
