29 CFR 1926.451(b)(11):     Scaffold components made of dissimilar metals shall not be used together unless a competent person has determined that galvanic action will not reduce the strength of any component to a level below that required by paragraph (a)(1) of this section.    (a).  Worksite located at 800 Hospital Drive, Columbia, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall or collapse hazard in that the mobile scaffolds being used on the roof structure had mismatched components from different manufacturerers which could compromise the structural integrity of the scaffolding.

29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1):     When scaffold platforms are more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from another scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface shall be used. Crossbraces shall not be used as a means of access.    (a). Worksite located at 800 Hospital Drive, Columbia, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that the fabricated frame scaffold was not provided with a safe means of access to the work platforms.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):     "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    (a). Worksite located at 800 Hospital Drive, Columbia, Missouri- Employees were exposed to fall hazards and wer not adequately protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.
