29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about November 15, 2012, employees were not protected from fall hazards of greater than 19.5 feet when they were roofing an apartment building without using any fall protection systems. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet"). Hernandez Roofing, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 553758, citation number 1, item 3, issued on August 21,2010, at a job site located at 4603 Flintridge Dr., Colorado Springs, CO, 80909. This citation became final on September 18, 2012.
