29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor had other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function: On November 19, 2012, an employee was not protected from a fall as the safety monitor had other duties such as collecting roofing debris, exposing employees to a fall hazard of 14.3 feet. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
