29 CFR 1926.800(j)(1)(i)(A): The competent person assigned to do air monitoring in underground construction did not perform all air monitoring required by this section: a) On or about November 19, 2012, a labor employee performed the required air monitoring at 12:35 pm and at 4:00 pm who was not the assigned competent person. The labor employee was not trained for confined space entry. b) On or about November 20, 2012, a labor employee performed required air monitoring at 12:30 pm who was not the assigned competent person. The labor employee was not trained for confined space entry. c) On or about November 21, 2012, a labor employee performed required air monitoring at 12:40 pm who was not the assigned competent person. The labor employee was not trained for confined space entry.
