29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about November 20, 2012, the employer, whose employees were performing roofing work on a 5:12 pitch roof, failed to provide fall protection. The employees were exposed to the hazard of falling distances greater than 6 feet to the ground below.
