29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: a) for employees cutting branches from ground, operating a wood chipper and cleaning premises with a backpack blower at Woodlawn Cemetery at 3412 Ola Avenue Tampa (FL). Employees were exposed to continuous noise levels at 66 to 102 percent of the allowable 8 hour TWA (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA levels for these dose percentages are 87 to 90 dBA. The sampling was performed for 372 minutes during one shift on December 12, 2012.
