29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) 27 Worcester Rd Charlton, MA: on or about November 15, 2012, an employee was observed working while standing on the roof rafters and/or the top of the wall plate more than 25 feet above the ground below without being protected from falling as required by this subpart: Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
