29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There shall be no damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating. On or about 11/23/12 At 55 Water Street, New York, NY The restoration of service switch "F" was being completed after the electrical conductors and components were damaged or deteriorated by salt water. During the drying out procedure the conductors at the site caused a fire/smoke condition.
