29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).      On or about November 27, 2012, on the south side, the employer failed to assess the workplace to identify hazards requiring the use of personal protective equipment.  Employees who were hanging Christmas lights from the roof of a residential dwelling were exposed to a fall hazard of 25 feet and were not provided equipment to protect them from such hazards.
