CFR 1926.501(b) (11):  Each employee engaged in roofing activities on steep-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    (a)	Octavio Roofing and Construction, 4875 South Balsam Way, Denver, CO 80123: On and before November 28, 2012, five employees working on a 5:12 pitch roof were not protected from falling by a system as described above.  Specifically, employees were witnessed and photographed conducting roofing operations. Condition exposed employee to fall hazards of over 20 feet.    Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is not required for this item (See enclosed Sample Abatement-Certification Letter).
