OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):     Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fire and explosion hazards.    A) Boiler Room - on or about November 28, 2012, the Kewanee boiler and Webster burner were operated without a functioning Flame SafeGuard flame detection system in place.    Among methods, feasible means of abatement for this hazard include:    Complying with the manuals for the Kewanee Classic III Scotch Boiler and the Webster Cyclonetic Burner, which require weekly and monthly checks of the Flame SafeGuard system.
