29 CFR 1910.22(b)(1): Aisles and passageways were not kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard. a) Die Repair Area; The employer did not ensure that passageways were kept in good repairs by allowing a caustic solution, Sodium Hydroxide, to leak onto the concrete floors causing it to buckle and become distorted. Employees were exposed to tip over/crushed by hazards while traveling over uneven floors while operating the die picker trucks to load/unload dies from the storage racks.
