29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee exposed to fall hazards to enable them to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to follow in order to minimize them. a) East Coast Construction Site, 263 3rd Street - Employees installing metal wall studs were exposed to 12 foot fall hazards from the second level to the ground level without fall protection training to enable them to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to follow in order to minimize them. The personal fall protection equipment used by the carpenters had a deployment length that was greater than the potential fall distance.
