29 CFR 1926.252(a): An enclosed chute of wood, or equivalent material, was not used where materials were dropped more than 20 feet to points lying outside the exterior walls of the building: a. Adjacent to Secondary Entrance: Employees working from the roof of the 4 story apartments were tearing off the old roofing shingles and other material. They were dropping lose material as well as bagged material approximately 32 feet to the top of the bed of the GMC single axle dump truck as observed on 12-3-12. Abatement Certification Is Required For This Item
